Welcome to the online open house and survey for the Route 40 Transit-Plus Multimodal Corridor (TPMC) project!
The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is partnering with King County Metro (Metro) to reduce transit travel times, improve transit reliability, and increase safety and transit access along the Route 40 corridor.
In spring 2021, we received public feedback on preliminary design concepts for six intersections along the Route 40 corridor, as well as improvements across the entire project area. Now, we’re sharing three updated preliminary design concepts with the community. The updated designs are along Westlake Ave N, in Fremont near Fremont Ave N and N 35th St, and in Ballard near Leary Way NW and 15th Ave NW.
We want to know:
- Do our updates to the preliminary design concepts sufficiently address previous concerns? Learn more about the feedback we have received so far on this project.
- Do you (the community) have any additional feedback on the updated preliminary design concepts?
